) nitro hommage a owen ! (dans mon top 10 de mes match preferer je pense que il est le 7eme ... )

Bret vs british buldog summerslam 92 !

Bref tres tres tres bon dvd surement mon Troisieme preferer :)

traduction ! *

I have every dvd from survivor series 05 to wrestlemania 27 (all ppv and 2disc set and 3 disc set ) and he is in my top 5 !
The documentary is verry good ! and at thuis time it was amazing to have a documentary (vince and hart don't verry love together ) so this is an acte verry profesional !

there are lot of great match ! some of the greatest of all time !

Like

the hart vs benoit (in my top 10 )

the hart vs british buldog at summerslam 92 (in my top 15 or 20 )

the hart vs mr perfect in my top 30

(if ou think been in my top 30 is not goood i want to say something ! i have seen all ppv from 2000 to now ! and lot of the ppv before ! and i watch other federation so trust me been in my top 30 is verry good ! )

I thin k it's my third prefer dvd of all time !
the documentary is verry good and the match awesome ! (what can we better ? :) )
You will probably learn lot of things to know about hart and wrestling !
And discover great and "clasic" match in the history of wwe !

Trust me it's a ust have for any real fan ! and anybody who want to talk about this man because trust me you will love him !

This is a great dvd but it's a dvd for the fan of technical wrestling ! if you love some match like scsa vs the rock you can don't love this dvd because is not the same things ...
This is a wrestling like the shawn michaels or eddie guerrero or benoit or dean malenko or flair or angle or some other technical wrestling ...

A MUST SEE AND HAVE !!!!!!!!!

ps sorry if i have a bad english ... i'm young and i'm french lol

If you enjoy wrestling you will no doubt enjoy this Bret was and is simply The Best full stop he always gave 100% was an amazing athlete and always made his opponents look better than they were and believe me some of them were not worthy of being in the same ring. When you watch this dvd you cannot help but get emotional as Bret talks about his friends & family that he has lost during his time in the business as well as success and regrets and gives a fascinating insight into the business.

I have to say, I'm not the Hitman's biggest fan. When he was active in WWE, I really supported other wrestlers like Undertaker. But I saw this DVD on a sale, scooped it up... and realised just how wrong I was. But this isn't a review of the wrestler, but of his DVD. Does it match up to his impeccable ring-work?

Well, yes. I don't like to give out five stars easily, but this DVD is worth it, and this from a (previously) non-Hart fan. The presentation of the box is a bit strange, with newspaper clippings, but it adds a nice edge to the package.

The main feature, a tour-de-force of Bret's WWE / WCW time is fantastic. Bret hosts most of it, including his opinions on the controversial Montreal incident, but others like Vince and wrestling alumni like Animal or Christian, get their chance to wax lyrical on the excellence of execution. The documentary is thorough, tries to be as unbiased as it can (and mainly succeeds) and lets the Hitman's career tell its own tale. It does have to skip over some events (Bret's first solo stab post-Hart Foundation, and the Lawler feud for example) but it also brings other, lesser known events in to the light (KOTR I). Overall, the production of this is virtually flawless and is everything these kinds of documentaries should be. Very impressive.

It does add one question though - Bret says his time as a heel in the Attitude era was 'fun', but why suddenly decide to go to WCW so suddenly? The DVD does raise more questions where there weren't before.

As far as extras go, this DVD is packed to the gills with a luscious amount of them. The extra interviews are fascinating (Konnan taught Bret the Sharpshooter?!?), and the match selection is fantastic. No Iron Man or Ladder matches but that's understandable as they would steal from other Bret matches, and there's only so many hours on a disk. Plus, these matches are well documented elsewhere. The extras are just as good as the main feature and worth the price of admission alone.

WWE need to take note. If you're going to do an 'out-of-characeter' DVD retrospective, this is the way to do it. A well put-together documentary, fascinating interviews that didn't make the docu. cut, and a plethora of deliciously wrestled matches that (at this point) were only available here. Whether you're a Bret Hart fan or not doesn't matter - you cannot justify not having this DVD. And maybe, just maybe, like what happened with me, you may start out being apathetic to the Hitman but once you're given this a watch, you may find yourself entranced by the Best There Is, The Best There Was, and The Best There Ever Will Be.

Bret "Hitman" Hart: The Best There Is, The Best There Was & The Best There Ever Will Be (2005):

This DVD is amazing. It's got every thing a wrestling fan could want. Great Story, Interviews and classic Matches!

BRET HART STORY:
One of the best WWE stories of all time. Not as good as 'The Rise + Fall of ECW' but just that slight bit off it. It starts of with bret talking about Stampede Wrestling and the hart family dungeon. Then, when he gets signed with the WWF and becomes Intercontinental champ. The chapter about when he became WWF Champion is very good. It tells you insiders you never would have thought about Bret, Vince McMahon or Shawn Michaels doing. It shows you highlights of the Iron Man Match and his match with stone cold at WM13. The srcewjob chapter is good but, it seems like hardly any info was actually given. it shows you it happening and what bret felt and thats really it. His time in WCW is sad as a 10 minute point is talking about Owen; bret's brother and how he died. bret says he felt guilty for joining WCW. all in all, it's sad, happy, funny, historic, and sad again. but brilliant.

I'll tel you some of the good matches in here.
WWF TAG TEAM TITLES:
Hart Foundation vs. The Rockers:
high flying really good.

INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIP:
Bret Hart vs. Mr. Perfect:
a wrestling clinic. they took each other to the limit.

INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIP:
Bret Hart vs. British Bulldog:
really good top rope moves and technical wrestling. alot of stand-offs.

Bret Hart vs. Owen Hart:
fast paced and loads of classic wrestling holds and grapples. surprising ending.

WWF CHAMPIONSHIP:
NO DISQUALIFICATIONS:
Bret Hart vs. Diesel:
ring bells, chairs and cables all used. diesel throws bret off the ring apron crashing through a table!

SUBMISSION MATCH:
Bret Hart vs. Stone Cold Steve Austin:
steve bleeds alot. tons of high risk moves. several weapons used. a classic.

I Know some of these matches are in other reviews but, they really are just that good. the story is so emotional, mixed with several great matches and WALAH! perfect wrestling DVD!!!!
VERY GOOD: ***** STARS!

One of the best DVD I've EVER bought. Brought back some good memories of watching wrestling as a child. It's a shame his career was cut short, can only imagine how much more he could have accomplshed. The only wrestler I would rate etter than Curt Hennig.

Like Vince says in the DVD:

"By the yime you've finished watching this, you will have arguably watched The Best There Is, The Best There Was, The Best There Ever Will Be.

This DVD contains an excellent selection of matches from one of the best techinical wrestlers of all time. Each of the matches are hand picked by Bret himself and features many different opponents. The highlights are the Summerslam clash with British Bulldog, the King Of The Ring match with Mr Perfect and the WM submission match with Stone Cold Steve Austin.

Also included on the DVD is an in-depth sit down interview with the man himself. The DVD features footage from the whole of Bret's career, including Stampede and WCW. A must for any fan of Bret Hart.

The Hitman his arguably the best technical wrestler of all the time! This collection is good, but has some flaws like for instance there?s no matches against the showstopper Shawn Michaels(wich is understandable because of their real life feud!),his victory over Ric Flair in October 1992(Bret?s first wwe title reign)should be shown here, and that?s a shame the way Bret leave the wwe, although Vince Mcmahon had all the reason on his side because a professional must do EVERYTHING for the best of the company and the business and Bret didn?t do it and went to the crap wcw company(a complete joke, yes that?s right i NEVER liked wcw !)I love wwe,it?s the only company i ever watched and i?m proud of it,because they had mid card wrestlers like Jericho;Rey Mysterio;Benoit(r.i.p.);Eddie Guerrero(r.i.p.)a chance to be world champions on their own right, unlike wcw(all about the crap of Hogan and Nash!)Long live wwe and vince mcmahon!

A great DVD about one of the Best Superstars the entire Wrestling World has ever seen.
A travel from his beginnings at his fathers Promotion Stampede to the WWE.
Highlights over highlights.

GreatTag Team Battles of the Hart Foundation, including rivalries with the British Bulldogs, the Killer Bees, The Rockers and Nasty Boys.

A rare Match with Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat - AMAZING.

The Matches for the IC-Title are phenomenal.
Also his most personal feud with his own brother Owen.

Another 2 great Matches are including with the great Submission-Match from WrestleMania 13 with rising Star Stone Cold Steve Austin and his Tribute-Match to his Brother.

But the H(e)art of the Edition is the Documentary with a very emotional Hitman.

The Best there is, the Best there was, the Best there ever will Be ... and that?s 100% true !!!

This is a must have for any Bret Hart fans. Bret himself depicts his story from his early beginnings in his father's wrestling business in Canada to his rise into beeing a SUPERSTAR in the WWE and the eventual sad ending of his wrestling career in the old WCW. This dvd is a Interesting, factual, honest and sometimes emotional story of Bret's experiences in the business that is proffessional wrestling. Watch out for the emotional extra feature in which Bret chokes up over the passing of such stars as Ravishing Rick Rude and The British Bull Dog. In summary this dvd does Bret Hart proud it shows: The Man, The Wrestler, The Legend that was the Excellence of execution, The best there is, the best there was and truly the best there ever will be!!

Another great WWE dvd. This dvd just shows you how great Bret Hart was, his story is so interesting, the dvd goes through the key moments of his career and gives you alot of insight to them. the matches in the collection are good because it shows his skill in the ring and how good of a worker he really was. To me when they talk about the best wrestlers in the history of wrestling, i find most times people forget to mention Bret Hart which is a crime lol, but when you watch his dvd you will see why he should be always talked about. One can disagree with Bret's estimation of his own skills and importance, however, this DVD set is one of the very best WWE has ever put out. The biography part is outstanding, and of course, very sad. The tribute to Bret's deceased colleagues is depressing. As for the matches, sadly some of them are becoming redundant by now, but that's because they are all-time classics that fit well on many best-of-sets. This set adds some lesser known matches that flashes the set out quite nicely, such as the Harts vs. Bulldogs, Hart vs. Steamboat, Hart vs. DiBiase and Hart vs. Bigelow matches. And many of these all-time classics HAVE to be in every serious WWE fan's DVD library: Hart vs. Perfect (both matches), Hart vs. Bulldog (again, both matches), Hart vs. Hart from WrestleMania X, Hart vs. Austin... buy it, you won't regret it.
