Really nice set. Of course, all things considered, this DVD set leaves a bittersweet taste in your mouth. The biography is nice, though, and somewhat different in its format. Going to the places of Eddie's childhood and hearing his mother, sister, wife and daughters is really nice.
The matches are all really good, although I think the ECW match with Malenko is somewhat overrated. I also never quite "got" the (here unlisted!) When World Collide hair vs. mask match between Eddie & "Love Machine" Art Barr and El Hijo del Santo & Ocatgon. The Jericho match is really good, while the Rey Misterio match from Halloween Havoc is off-the charts, must-see wrestling!!! The RVD and Benoit matches are good, while the Survivor Series match is good, but below expectations. The Lesnar match is really good and, of course, has a tremendously emotional ending.

*WARNING: CONTAINS SPOILERS*
I can't believe it took me so long to by this DVD. I always wanted to own it, but when I went to buy a DVD there would always be something else I wanted to get at the time, such as a new DVD or a PPV I had wanted to get.
Disc 1
Documentary
A good documentary, that I always enjoy watching. Very emotional, as it talks about his personal problems and how he over came them to earn back the respect and trust of his family and friends, and the respect and love of his fans.
I do feel the documentary is lacking a little in his wrestling career. It focuses too much on his personal problems for my liking. So if you want to know more about his wrestling career, I would suggest that you buy this DVD along with his book, which is an excellent read.

Hector, Chavo & Mondo Guerrero Vs Cactus Jack & Rock 'n' Roll RPM's
It is nice to see that Eddie put a match on here that didn't include him, but instead involves his brothers.
Its only a short match, and there isn't anything special about it, but its fun to watch and was the first time I had seen all 3 men in a match. I have never seen a match between any other Guerrero except for Eddie and Chavo, and Chavo "classic" when he was on Smackdown a few years ago.

Eddie Guerrero & "Love Machine" Art Barr Vs Octagon & El Hijo Santo
This is a 2 out of 3 falls hair vs mask match, and to win a fall you have to pin both men. If I remember correctly, Eddie said in his book that he felt this match was done really well and he was extremely proud of it when it was over, and he considered it his best match at that time.
Another thing I just remembered about this match, again if I remember correctly, Eddie said in his book that The Nasty Boys shaved his and Art's heads before this match, which nearly screwed up this match.
Not sure what happened near the end of this match, but it cuts out part of the match. I thought it was a PPV, so commercial break is rules out.
Anyway, the match is pretty good, and being early in his career I can see why Eddie liked it so much. Plenty of action here and lots of good moves, and the crowd were into it all the way through.

Eddie Guerrero Vs Dean Malenko
This is their last ECW match, and its also 2 out of 3 falls.
The match is a great mix between high flying and technical wrestling, and I love watching this match over and over again. Please WWE, bring out a Malenko set!
If you are a fan of either men or just a fan of good wrestling and you haven't seen this match, WHY THE FUCK NOT?!?!

Eddie Guerrero Vs Chris Jericho
Another great match, similar to the Malenko match in that is mixes good wrestling with high flying moves. I probably enjoyed this match just as much as the Malenko match, and for people who have seen the Malenko match and not this one, you should have an idea of just how good it is!

Eddie Guerrero Vs Rey Mysterio
This is one of the greatest cruiserweight matches I have ever seen. If you think Eddie/Malenko or Eddie/Jericho were good, this is EVEN BETTER.
This reminds of Bret/Perfect KOTR match; perfect execution. Everything is so well done, and I am so glad they got a good amount of time to do it all in.

This is a GREAT disc. It features an enjoyable and emotional documentary of one of my favourite in ring performers of all time, and includes 3 amazing matches, and 2 other matches that are worth watching.
Disc 2
Chavo Guerrero Jr. Vs Eddie Guerrero - Hair Vs Hair Match
*Review from my Bash at the Beach 1998 DVD Review*
Uncle Vs Nephew. Hair Vs Hair. With the 2 men in this match being who they are, I was expecting a good match.
Chavo seems to be playing up a crazy gimmick at this time, and since I haven't seen any of the build up, it makes no sense to me lol. Eddie plays the heel in this match, and makes me laugh with almost everything he does. Chavo also makes me laugh with some of his crazy antics, such as biting Eddie on the arse. Twice.
Eventually the crazy stuff goes away, and the match turns into a wrestling match. Good offence from Eddie, who stays in control for the majority of the match. Chavo makes a comeback, until Eddie throws him out of the ring. Eddie rips the mat off the floor and goes for a suplex on the floor (though he is positioned stupidly; if he hit a suplex, he would land on the mat with it lol), but Chavo reverses it into a suplex of his own. Back in the ring, Eddie manages to comeback again and hits a suplerplex on Chavo.
Chavo now has the advantage, and goes for a Frog Splash (Eddie's finisher), but Eddie gets his knees up, and hits a Tornado DDT(Chavo's finisher)! He attempts to follow it up with a Frog Splash of his own, but Chavo reverses it, then hits his Tornado DDT! Chavo goes for the sissors and tries to cut Eddie's hair, but the ref stops him, and Eddie rolls him up for the win.
It seems weird to me that Chavo would lose, as Chavo doesn't have much hair to start with, so he isn't really losing much. Chavo continues with his crazy gimmick, and actually shaves his own hair, and enjoys it!
A decent match, but I don't think it had enough time to develop into something great. Not knowing any of the build up probably didn't help either, as I didn't understand what the hell Chavo was doing lol.

Eddie Guerrero Vs Rob Van Dam
I had forgotten just how good this ladder match was! Great action, great se of the ladder and some great spots. Mark out moment for me when I saw Eddie use the ladder to do his rolling splash that he normally does with the ropes. Some funny moments in the match too, such as the guy form the audience running into the ring and knocking Eddie off the ladder, and when RVD was going for a 5 Star Frog Splash from the ladder, but it completely gave away.
There wasn't much wrong with this match at all, and after watching it again, I think its probably my 4th favourite (singles) ladder match ever, behind both HBK/Razor matches and Benoit/Jericho.

Kurt Angle & Chris Benoit Vs Edge & Rey Mysterio Vs Los Guerreros
*Review from my Survivor Series 2002 DVD Review*
My second favourite tag match of all time. Just superb. Similar to my review for the Angle/Lesnar match, I don%u2019t think anything I can write will do it justice. Great technical wrestling, high flying wrestling, and plenty of action. Watch it, that%u2019s all I really have to say about this match.
Los Guerreros def Edge & Rey Mysterio and Kurt Angle & Chris Benoit to win the WWE Tag Team Titles

Eddie Guerrero Vs Chris Benoit
This is one of those "wrestling" matches that we talk about so much but don't see much any more. It really is a shame that WWE don't allow some of their most talented guys to go out and put on a great match, especially considering they did it for about 2 years straight on Smackdown in 2002 and 2003.
Out of all the Eddie/Benoit singles matches, this is my favourite, and it is probably their best too (if not, then not many people have seen their best because nobody talks about it ).
We see great wrestling in this match, and the fans are loving it. We also have some great entertainment from Eddie, which can always make a good match even better. The only thing I don't like is the ending.

Brock Lesnar Vs Eddie Guerrero - WWE Title
*Review from my No Way Out 2004 DVD Review*
This is the match I bought the DVD for, and is the reason most people bought the DVD. Eddie Guerrero was THE most over wrestler at the time, and deserved this shot more than anyone else on the roster. I had been a fan of Eddie since he first came to WWF in 2000, so I was extremely pleased that he had finally been given a title shot. WWE did a great job of building this match up, and did an even better job of making everyone believe that Eddie could not win this match.
Eddie was so passionate during his promos during this time, and the fans appreciated it. They loved Eddie no matter what he did, and at the time, I didn't know ANYONE who didn't like Eddie.
While Lesnar isn't normally considered a "big man" wrestler, compared to Eddie, he was. So this was a typical Big Man Vs Small Man, David Vs Goliath match. Lesnar have strength, weight and height over Eddie, but unlike most big men, he was also an amazing amateur wrestler and very fast. Eddie on the other hand, was quick (maybe only just a bit quicker than Lesnar), and a great wrestler (thought perhaps not as good as Lesnar when it came to amateur style). All of this stacked the odds against Eddie. So on further analysis, this wasn't a typical Big Man Vs Small Man match. It seemed that the "small man" really didn't have any of the advantages of a small man, while the "big man" had the advantages of the big man, but also of the small man.
The match starts with Lesnar over powering Eddie. A HUGE, and I mean HUGE back body drop from Lesnar to Eddie. Eddie goes for a hurricanrana early on, but Lesnar catches him and swings him round, then throws him across the ring. Beautiful belly to belly overhead follows, and Lesnar is still in control. Eddie constantly tries to fight back, but Lesnar keeps stopping any comeback attempt.
Eddie finds an opening and begins to work on the leg/knee of Lesnar, but even that doesn't last too long. More high impact offense from Lesnar before he slows the match down with some mat wrestling, and tried to wear Eddie "out" as Michael Cole tells us.
Lesnar keeps dominating the match, and every time Eddie makes a comeback, he is soon shot down. Eventually Eddie gains the advantage for a little while, as he begins to work on the legs and knee of the champ once again. Now it seems that every time Lesnar fights back, Eddie knocks him back down. This doesn't last very long though, as in the end, Lesnar gets the better of Eddie.
Both men end up being knocked down, and as they try to gain the advantage again, Eddie gets the better of Brock. Figure Four applied to Lesnar, who is desperate to get to the ropes or turn Eddie over. Lesnar uses his strength to drag Eddie over to the ropes to break the hold, but the damage has been done to the legs of Lesnar. Another submission from Eddie, but Lesnar is still able to escape.
Lesnar hits an impressive suplex with just one leg (which is some great selling from Lesnar). Equally as impressive, Eddie hits the 3 amigos to the much bigger and heavier Lesnar, and he is now fired up! Frog Splash attempt missed, and I remember watching this live, I though Eddie was about to be beaten after missing that. The fact that Lesnar actually hit an F-5 straight after almost made that happen, but the ref was knocked down, so Eddie still had a chance.
Seeing that the ref was down, Lesnar gets his title belt to try and finish Eddie off for good, but before he can do anything, Goldberg appears and hits a huge spear! Eddie is back in the game! A cover from Eddie only gets a 2 count, which I think was a surprise to everyone. Eddie looks disappointed, but then sees the WWE Title belt, and gets an evil smirk. With the ref still down, he sets up Lesnar for a shot to the head, but is unsuccessful. Another F-5 attempt, but Eddie counters into a DDT, and Lesnar goes head first onto the WWE Title belt.
Frog Splash! 3 count! EDDIE GUERRERO IS THE NEW CHAMPION!!! Huge mark-out moment!!! Everyone is standing and cheering for Eddie!
A fantastic match with a fantastic ending. MOTN, and one of the best No Way Out matches of all time. I will say though, I think this match is often overrated a little because Eddie has passed away, and some people think it's disrespectful to not rate it as high as possible. While it was amazing, it wasn't quite perfect, so I won't give it the full 5 stars.
