This was a pretty decent PPV to be fair good matches loved the winner of the world title match :P plus this event hapend on my Birthday yay :p

Vom Voting-Konzept bin ich ohnehin angetan, die Ergebnisse waren erwartungsgem?? gut.
Die Stimmung in der Halle war toll und am erw?hnenswertesten: Es gibt kein wirklich schlechtes Match! Selbst Big Show vs. Undertaker & Rey Masterio vs. Kane haben mich ?berzeugt, obwohl ich davor daran gezweifelt habe.
Mit gutem Gewissen: 5 Sterne!

It can be funny sometimes looking at the dvd covers of WWE releases,in the case of survivor series 2008 an insight into the result of the world title fight is as clear as day and in the case of cyber sunday,cm punk graces the cover with pride in his eyes yet he doesnt feature in the event,im just making conversation,pay no mind,anyway!
Cyber sunday 2008 was another good event from 2008,a year that is possibly one of the strongest in recent times with regards to the quality of the pay per views.
The event opened with rey rey vs kane,this feud had boiled and boiled and now the fans could decide on the stipulation,it wasnt as brutal as one would have hoped but it was a good match and very even in terms of momentum,a good way to kick off the evening.
The ECW title was contested next as the champ matt hardy went up against evan bourne,this match was superb and highlights that evan has some future,this match shifted gears like mad and was fought out at a mind boggling pace,quality moves were order of the day in a match that rates as one of the best of the year,i tip my hat to both stars.
Cryme tyme went up against miz and morrison next,these two teams had shared plenty of ring time prior to this and indeed after this and it showed as they shared great chemistry,another solid match.
The intercontiental championships value wasnt helped with the next match as the champ santino went up against old timer,the honky tonk man,this match was a minute long and had the cheapest of endings i may ever have seen,what followed was designed to get the crowds dancing and laughing,i wasnt amused.
The undertaker and the big show continued their feud next,this match was certainly ugly at times,i cant jazz that fact up but i can say that it ended up being a good bout,toe to toe and a pleasing level of commitment from both.
The WWE title was contested next as triple h went up against jeff hardy,this match was a lesson in quality for sure,in the end i need only say it was excellent.
The main event was next and featured the champ chris jericho going up against batista,there were three guest refs to pick from for this match also,this match was a good match,it wasnt great,the two differing styles worked at first and then got a bit average causing the match to dip,it ended well though in my eyes anyway/
There you go,another 4 star review,a job well done.

It begins with Rey Mysterio vs Kane. Choose between 1)No holds barred-match 2)Falls count anywhere-match 3)2 out of 3 falls-match. I was sure alt 1 would win. It does, but it's a close call. 39/35/26%. The match itself is not much of a NHB-match, but it's good and the ending is beautiful. 4/5

Then there is Matt Hardy vs ?. 1)Mark Henry 2)Evan Bourne 3)Finlay. I was sure it wasn't Henry. Bourne wins landslide. 6/69/25%. I'm impressed with Bourne, but I think that Hardy is doing poor. It's different to see him being the big wrestler. 3/5

Then we can choose a Tagmatch. 1)Mickie James-Jamie Noble vs Layla-William Regal 2)Cryme Tyme vs The Miz-John Morrison 3)CM Punk-Kofi Kingston vs Cody Rhodes-Ted DiBiase. I really wanted to see alt 3 and I thought that I was gonna do that. To my surprise alt 2 was the tight winner. 27/38/35%. Miz and Morrison saves the match. Could have been better. 3/5

Intercontinental championshipmatch. Santino Marella vs ?. 1)Roddy Piper 2)Golddust 3)Honky Tonk Man. I can't understand were Golddust got all votes from and I'm really glad we got to see HTM. 34/31/35%. Very funny match, were all the old wrestlers is involved. A small incident with them is in the Special Features. Be prepared to laugh. 4/5

Undertaker vs Big Show. in a 1)Knockout-match 2)I Quit-match 3)Last Man Standing-match. We all know a KO-match wasn't gonna be. I thought maybe that an IQ-match was a better match. 9/42/49%. They work hard, but I'm not satisfied. 3/5

Divas Halloween Costume Contest. We have between the matches seen Michelle McCool (Army brat), Katie Lea (Vampire), Lena Yada (Sexy ninja), Candice Michelle (Marilyn Monroe), Beth Phoenix (Gladiator), Maria (Bunny), Jillian (Batgirl), Kelly Kelly (Captain), Tiffany (Nun), Natalia (Officer), Brie Bella (Cleopatra), Eve (Ninja turtle), Maryse (French Maid), Victoria (Banana), Layla (Princess Leia) and Mickie James (Lara Croft). I LOVE DIVAS! But who cares who wins a costume contest? 1/5

WWE championshipmatch Triple H vs ?. 1)Jeff Hardy 2)Vladimir Kozlov 3)Both in a Triple Threat. I was sure of Hardy and another landslide was the result. 57/5/38%. A great match, but they have done better. The best match of the night... so far. 4/5

World heayweightmatch Chris Jericho vs Batista. Special guest referee 1)Randy Orton 2)Steve Austin 3)Shawn Michaels. It might have been fun if Michaels would have won, but we all knew that Austin would be the winner. 4/74/22% This was the highest votes for the night. The match itself is a vey good one and Austin is doing it better. And we got to see all 3 referees. I love Michaels slowcount. That one is the reason for this match is gettin the fifth star. 5/5

In the extras we have the Preview-match. This is what I wants in every DVD!
US-championshipmatch Shelton Benjamin vs ?. 1)R-Truth 2)MVP 3)Festus. Result 59/15/26%. This is a very good match. It's better than most of the matches on the PPV. 4/5

Well It was good to watch but not sure why there making a big deal out of c m punk!

Cyber Sunday was brilliant and my most favourite match was the last man standing match between the Big Show and the Undertaker.

cyber sunday was the best ppv in months, with various matches for the fans to choose from, a must buy!

CYBER SUNDAY 2008 was one of the best 2008 PPV'S

And the best match on it had to be Evan Bourne VS Matt Hardy ( ECW Championship) 10/10
Also the mainevent was class.. Y2J VS Bastisa ( World Championship) (Also there was a special guess referee... Stone Cold/ Randy Ortan/ HBK...
And plus much, much, more.... And it's only ?10.99...

Wow I thougt this was just a amazing ppv when i was watching it, it was just so fun, funny and entertaini ng. The opening match was my favourit a street fight between ray mysteruio and kane, oits just a really good match and oh yeah, there was weopings and all that being used. The Lastman standing matrch between undertaker and big show was ok, it could of been better, the best part of the match was undertaker being chokeslamed and thrpoughth the annou ncers table and getting up all the other matchs were great and promos between them were just brill its worth it just snugle into bed with popcorn and watrch it all u wont be disapionted. Overall score 10/10

The last couple of Cyber Sundays and Taboo Tuesdays have been mostly pretty average and verging on total garbage, but this event was really entertaining. The highlights were all three World title matches, the IC title match which provided some great comedy moments and generally the unpredictable nature of the event where the fans get to choose the opponents, stipulations, referees etc.

This is definately one of my favourite events of 2008!
