This is my WWE Elimination Chamber 2010 dvd review:

Elimination Chamber for the WWE Championship match John Cena vs Triple H vs Sheamus vs Kofi Kingston vs Ted Dibiase vs Randy Orton: 3.5/5
Raw?s Elimination Chamber kicked off the show and this surprised me because I thought that this was going to be the Main Event. The match was not good for an Elimination Chamber. In fact, it was one of the worst Chambers I?ve ever seen. But for a opener we can?t asked for very much. The match was kinda boring but it had some great moments. At the end, Triple H eliminates Sheamus with the Pedigree and John Cena made tap out HHH with the STF.
I was like a kind of dissapointed because WWE made Cena win another time but there was Batista to steal him the tittle. Great move to start the feud between these two men.

Intercontinental Championship match Drew McIntyre vs Kane: 2.5/5
This was a good match because I didn?t expect much more about these two wresters. At the end, Drew retains with The Future Shock. The worst match of the night but still good.

United State Championship match The Miz vs MVP: 2.5/5
This match has the same rate than the IC match but in spite o this, this match was better. Miz continued showing up that he is awesome being still champ. A good point of this match is that Big Show and Mark Henry made better the match with that good spot with the barricade.

Elimination Chamber for The World Heavyweight Championship match Chris Jericho vs The Undertaker vs John Morrison vs Rey Mysterio vs CM Punk vs R-Truth: 4.25/5
Very, very good main event. Perfect use of R-Truth, Punk continue cutting good promos, Mysterio and Morrison putting the spots and Undertaker and Jericho for battle for the tittle. Very good Chamber and great push for Morrison with a great permormance. At the end, HBK went out of the ring and connect the SCM to the Taker for start the feud. Awesome to see Jericho as world champ.

OVERALL: 7.0/10
This event was quite better than Royal Rumble but a little bit dissapointed with some things. Likes on this were the main event. The singles match could be better. And in my opinion Raw?s Chamber was the bigger dissapointed of the night because with Kofi, Dibiase, Orton and guys like those the match asked for something more. But by the way, good DVD to have, order it if you like the Chamber because the single contests were not good.

The show between the Rumble and Wrestlemania has not always been as good as it could be - last years No Way Out a prime example - but several things elevated this PPV to above average status this year.

the very first match was a great example. while it was obvious that DiBiase or Kingston weren't going to win, and that Sheamus was unlikely to either, the fact that there were 3 potential winners made it exciting. add to that the implosion of Legacy and the great Cena 2 minute title reign, that was already two major feuds for Wrestlemania lined up to perfection.

admittedly, the plodding IC title match that followed was a major drop in the pacing of the show, it was perhaps made all the worst for being followed by what was supposed to be the Diva's title match - postponed from the Rumble - was again postponed in favour of a Raw versus Smackdown Diva tag between Kim and Maryse and LayCool.

the thrown together US Title match was okay, but MBP is just not believeable as a babyface. the Regal segment to promote the upcoming premiere of NXT was perhaps a bit pointless as it would be heabily publicised on TV programming and wasted 5 minutes of PPV time, and the less said about Edge's interuption, the better.

the final match then needed to be great, and while it wasn't, it was slightly better than the Raw opener. again, nobody would have thought R-Truth or Morrison would walk out with the gold. but unlike the opener, because Jericho didn't start the match, there were 4 potential winners. as with the Raw match, two Mania matches were put fully into motion by the end of the match, three if you count Edge's Rumble win and Jericho's title retention, but this match is worth watching for the Undertaker and Shawn Michaels. with what happened to Taker on the way to the ring, he has to be applauded for carrying on with the match rather than getting checked over, and i defy anyone to still pop when Michaels makes his surprise appearence.

unsurprisingly, this PPV is only worth buying for the gimmick matches, which thankfully not just pull off major results and well paced action on a B-show, but also a show situated between two of the WWE's biggest PPV draws.

Well lets see how WWE's Elimination Chamber went down

WWE championship elimination chamber
I loved this one bit qiuck my fabourite bits were the legacy crumbling and then HHH's desperate struggle to get out of the STF. So I'll give this one a 8.8/10
Drew McIntyre vs Kane an average match bit boring 5.7/10

MVP vs Miz Even though these are never scheduled they always give a cracker 8.1/10

Divas match BORING 4.9/10

W H championship chamber#
great match Undertaker nearly set on fire though great bit especially John Morrison's cracker of a match great ending a joy of a chamber everyone deserves credit 9.1/10

So overall this one gets a 37.6/50 5 matches

WWE Championship Elimination Chamber Match
Sheamus (c) vs. John Cena vs. Triple H vs. Ted Debiase vs. Randy Orton vs. Kofi Kingston

This was an excellent opening contest which was quite brutal at times (the bit with Kofi's head comes to mind). Sheamus had a really good showing where he dominated much of the contest plus the eliminations took a long time to start, which made the in-ring action better because we got to see more of wht these guys could do. Although when they did start things got fast. There was no blood but there were some very brutal uses of the chamber that really made sure this joined the better chamber contests. Not to mention a great moment of betrayl. The ending was a little suprising as were the remaining two entrants and the sudden win. However we saw why after the match. 4/5

*SPOILER ALERT*
WWE Championship
John Cena (c) vs. Batista

This was a bit of a suprise but predictable finish, plus it was hard to take the 'John Cena is too beaten down to fight' stuff, considering he had hardly seen any brutality in the chamber. Also I do not like the fact Batista won because it says to me he is definatly going to lose at Mania. 1/5

WWE Intercontinental Championship
Drew McIntyre (c) vs. Kane

A great wrestling contest in which both Drew and Kane looked great and which was Kanes first title match in ages. I was a little dissapointed with the ending because it was the same sequence as the ending of McIntyre vs. Morrison at TLC and to me it looked a bit weaker this time. None-the-less it was another promising performence from McIntyre and the match clearly shows Kane should be getting more title shots.

WWE Divas Championship match
Gail Kim vs. Maryse

This did not happen instead the most hated superstar by the fans in WWE interfeared (Yes, Vickie Gurrero) and made this a tag team match.

Gail Kim and Maryse vs. Michelle McCool and Layla

In effect what happened here was a potentially good divas title match was squandered to make way for this badly put together garbage. I did not like nor appreciate this contest and felt it was a waste of time and money and a poor payoff to a hyped ladies match, where the most talented female in the match, Gail Kim, gets jobbed. 0/5

WWE U.S Championship
The Miz (c) vs. MVP

Another on the spot match for these two but another entertaining one which again was entertaining and showed both these talented wrestlers at work. Also the outside action between Henry and Show was great fun. Another good contest between these two but I think the rivalry should not continue now. 3/5

Somewhere in the midst of things William Regal came out to discuss WWE NXT (a week in week out joke in his case) until he was interupted by Edge and speared ?????????

WWE World Heavyweight Championship Elimination Chamber
Undertaker (c) vs. CM Punk vs. John Morrison vs. John Morrison vs. Rey Mysterio vs. Chris Jericho

First things first from home you couldnt see the accidental pyro incident but it looked strange but thankfully the Undertaker was not badly hurt and participated in the match. I'll be honest this match was dissapointing because of overly quick eliminations and the under use of certain stars. Also the match did not have as many brutal spots but the wrestling was of great quality. Punk was again great and I really love this recent rivalry with Mysterio. The ending was not a huge shock but impactfull none-the-less and set up the most anticipated wrestlemania match in some time. I am happy about who won he deserved it but lts just say after Wrestlemania 26 I think we will have another new champion. 3/5

WWE Elimination Chamber was not a bad event and boasted some good and great matches but was let down by a stinker of a womens match and some bad last minute additions. Still I am optimistic Wrestlemania 26 is going to be fantastic. 3/5

What a PPV!!!

WWE Championship Elimination Chamber Match
Sheamus vs. John Cena vs. Triple H vs. Randy Orton vs. Ted DiBiase vs. Kofi Kingston:
Amazing!! I thought this would be the Main Event, but in this case it was a superb opener! Really good action and an good ending (look how HHH gave all to escape the STF), following a big shocker!! 4,5/5

Intercontinental Champion
Drew McIntyre vs. Kane:
Surprisingly a good match from both men, just the end was too quick 3,25/5

Divas Championship Match
Gail Kim vs. Maryse was changed into Kim & Maryse vs McCool & Layla:
Nothing special here, kind of boring 2/5

United States Championship
The Miz vs MVP:
The bonus match, and they rock. Lot of good technical wrestling here 3,5/5

World Heavyweight Championship Elimination Chamber Match
Undertaker vs. CM Punk vs. John Morrison vs. Rey Mysterio vs. R-Truth vs. Chris Jericho:
Really good Main Event, completely different than the other chamber match with 2 shocking moments (1. the entrence of the Taker when he already burnt, look carefully; 2. the end when HBK's superkick connected) 4,25/5

Must buy DVD!
