Two solid PPVs.

King of the Ring 1999.

This is an alright PPV.
The King of The Ring tournament matches are quite good, not as good as the 2000 tournament but i'll get to that in a minute.
The Hardy Boyz vs E&C (or the brood at that point) was a great tag match has some great moments in it and really shows how the tag division around this time was brilliant.
The Undertaker vs The Rock is my favourite match of the PPV (and this boxset) it is surprising and they fight outside the ring around the entrance ramp and is a great title bout.
The Handicap Ladder match, was alright, not the best ladder match i've ever seen, and the pace of the match was pretty slow at some points, the best part of the match is when they are fighting around the entrance ramp area, they rest of the match is ok, went on a bit long i thought.

King of The Ring 2000

2000 was a good year for the wwf and this is a pretty good PPV, the tournament is great, kurt angle vs Y2J is a great match and probably the highlight of the tournament.
The 4 team tag championship match was great and again shows how strong the tag division was at that time and has some great moments (including E&C attempting a worm!)
The evening gown match is horrible, i didn't find much of the match funny, and the crowd even start chanting "boring" after a while, i fast-fowarded this bit until the end when i was relieved to see crash holly come out and end the match.
The handicap tables match is pretty good, some great moments, lots of great table spots and a satisfying ending, not a very technical match but exactly what you would expect from the dudleys when it is a tables match.
The 6-man tag team match for the title was good, but i'm not a fan of these type of situations, the idea of having 3 guys on one team competing for the title as a team does open up some interesting situations and moments (chokeslam through the table, from the top turnbuckle) but i would have prefered to have a every man for himself match where there is no team element, but the match is alright, as i said, memorable moments and the ending is great.

This is a solid release and if you are a fan of the attitude era and of the king of the ring tournament then this is a good purchase, some matches are missbale but this does have some good moments.

kotr '99 was great with a solid tournament and brilliant wwe championship match between taker and the rock. one of my favourite undertaker matches of 99, with a brilliant finish that establishes triple h as a legit player in the title picture. the handicap ladder match is also another memorable matchup.
the '00 tournament was a little stronger with some breakthrough performances and a great matchup between jericho and angle. the hardcore evening gown match was hilarious and the tag team encounter between road dogg, xpac and tori vs the dudley boyz is a pretty good affair. the dudleys don't disappoint. huge main event, bristling with talent and atmosphere as it really does have a feeling that anyone can win the wwe title. taker's chokeslam to shane from the turnbuckle through the announce table is awesome and the finish is done expertly. well worth it for this double pack!

Entertaining DVD set with some meorable matches on it.

New Brood (Hardy Boyz) vs. Edge & Christian - 7/10 - put these teams together and you always get a great match.

King of the Ring Tournament - 7/10 - Some very average matches in this tournament with not the best wrestlers and definately not a memorable one.

The Rock vs. Undertaker - 9/10 - Good match, this match is on the Undertaker DVD set. It is probably the highlight of the Pay Per View.

Stone Cold vs. Vince McMahon & Shane McMahon - 8/10 - Good ladder match, but not the best, pretty obvious result and was quite slow in places.

King of the Ring 2000

Edge & Christian vs. T&A vs. Hardy Boyz vs. Too Cool - 8/10 - Entertaining tag elimination match with a good result at the end of it.

King of the Ring Tournament - 8/10 - Better Tournament than the year before, better wrestlers with a deserving winner.

Road Dogg & X-Pac vs. Dudley Boyz - 8/10 - Enjoyable match, Tables and Dudley Boyz together always make a good watch.

The Rock, Kane & Undertaker vs. Triple H, Vince & Shane McMahon - 9/10 - Loved the atmosphere in this match with some of the best wrestlers around competing makes a great main event. The chokeslam Undertaker does to Shane McMahon from the ring to the announce table is a great moment.

Overall another great Tagged classic, if you love the Attitude era and wrestling in general than go and get this DVD.

Yet another brill Tagged Classic set here. My fave King Of The Ring, 2000 ishere along with the 1999 King of the Ring. I loved the 2000 KOTR because of the great tournament matches. There was some entertaining action. It was a shame Angle won because I was expecting Jericho to win the whole thing. The 6-Man Tag for the WWE Championship was a great brawl with a good finish. Loved it. 1999's KOTR was alsogood. Full of action including the Handicap Ladder Match fow ownership of the WWE with the McMahons going against Austin. And Undertaker v The Rock for the title was a good match. I reccomend this set to anyone who loves their wrestling.

A rather good tagged classic from the attitude era here. Two awsome K.O.T.R tournament's, both with unexpected winners at the time. The high points on the 1st disc is defiantly the main event ladder match. Was suprised how it was pulled off. Rock v Taker is a 4/5 star match very solid, probably the best of the night. Kane v Show was also interesting. Another 4/5 star rating for the edge and christian against the hardy boyz. AWSOME.
The second disc is my prefered K.O.T.R of all time. A really entertaining tournament again. The main event was well put together, some good work put into that match. The evening gown match was a bit hard on the eye to watch, but funny at the same time.

This is a good tagged classic,not the best but a good one.

I love all the Crash Holly's Appearance,particularly the match against Bull Buchanan,which's totally hilarios.
