this royal rumble was very boring, but i did have a best match it was undertaker vs rey mysterio
apart from that match every thing was boring.
This ppv was not the best so i rate 3 stars and 6 / 10
not the best royal rumble ever but good. the match of the night was rey mysterio vs undertaker for the world heavyweight title. i gave this 3 stars because it is worth 3 stars.
this is still a good DVD to add to your collection

This is my Royal Rumble 2010 review:
ECW Championship match Christian vs Ezekiel Jackson: 2.75/5
Good opener I didn?t expect that it was going to be as good as it was. At the end Christian wins.
United States Championship match The Miz vs MVP: 2.75/5
Another decent match, nothing special with Miz being the still champ.
WWE Championship match Sheamus vs Randy Orton: 2.5/5
In my opinion, the worst match of the night. Really dissapoinment, very slow and also it ends in DQ when Rhodes interfered in the match.
World Heavyweight Championship match Undertaker vs Rey: 3/5
Very decent match maybe a 3.25/5 match but Rey tell us that he is an underdog. I didn?t like why Undertaker didn?t use the Tombstone, why??. By the way I like the match the best single contest of the night in my opinion.
30-Man Royal Rumble Match: 4.25/5
Oh my god, excellent Royal Rumble I loved it. Perfect, with a lot of opened story lines, very quick with a lot of great eliminations and with Edge making his return and going to Wrestlemania.
OVERALL:7/10
In my opinion, this is a decent show but a little bit weird because I think that the single matches could be much better. The main event saved the show. Overall, decent DVD. A good item if you are a collector but not a must.

The Royal Rumble started with Christian defending the ecw championship against Ezekiel Jackson this was a great opener i am so happy that Christian won so for this great match i will give it 8/10
The second match of the night was the Miz vs MVP this was a okay match a bit boring in some parts but it was a little good in someparts so as Miz won i will give it 6.5/10.
Next was Sheamus defending his wwe championship against Randy Orton a good match Randy did good in the match but why Cody Rhodes intefeared is a open question so i will give this match 8/10.
Divas match was a very funny match at the end i was in hesterics. I am so pleased that Mickie James won 8.5/10
The Royal Rumble match was fantastic shorter than i thought but very good. CM PUNK ruined it a little bit at the beginning but Zack Ryder sorted him out. It was AMAZING when EDGE returned he came in at number 29 and Won!!!!!. I will give the royal rumble match 9.5/10.

The new year kicks off with the Royal Rumble.
The show starts with the ECW Championship being defended. Christian vs Ezekiel Jackson was actually better than I thought it would be. It was a great choice to open the show, as Christian gets the crowd excited. Jackson is not one of those slow boring giants, and actually puts some effort in. This match was in my opinion the best singles match of the night.
The Miz vs MVP for the US Title was not a terrible match, but I think it would've been better had it been promoted. It seemed rushed. Don't get me wrong, the match was good, but the match itself was pulled off too quick and it was undeveloped, it didn't mean anything.
Sheamus vs Randy Orton was a dull match. It picked up in the end but it was a throw-away match. For some reason the DQ finish is actually a good thing, as the building up the angle between Legacy and Orton was important. This match reminded me of Cena vs JBL, as it revolved around a storyline between HBK and JBL, and this match revolved around Legacy and Orton.
McCool vs James really wasn't good. The match wasn't good. For some reason, though, the way they ended this storyline with the quick victory was the best way to end it.
Undertaker vs Mysterio had a lot of potential, but ultimately it didn't work. The moves and spots they attempted were a bit awkward and this match was very predictable, as it wouldn't have made any sense had Rey won the World Title.
The Rumble Match was one of the shortest Rumbles in history. There was a lot of quick action, and I loved the way CM Punk kept on doing his promos after each elimination. It was nice to see a diva in the Rumble again, and Phoenix eliminated Khali, a predictable shocker was HHH being eliminated by HBK. Also R-Truth eliminated both Big Show and Mark Henry at the same time which was cool. Edge also makes his return in this match, eliminated Jericho and at the end it was left to Cena and Edge. In the end Edge won the Rumble and earned the chance to headline WrestleMania.
In the end, this was a somewhat predictable PPV. It had some good moments, but also had some bad.

Well the first PPV of 2010 and the first on the road to Wrestlemania. Yes its the royal tumble lets see how it went down
ECW Championship
Christian vs Ezikeil Jackson
A very good match I thought Jackson was going to win but WWE shocked us again some great spots in this one. 8.0/10
US Title
The Miz vs MVP
An unsceduled match but a very good one with some great moments just wwish it was scheduled 6.9/10
WWE Title
Sheamus vs Randy Orton
I really enjoyed this one especially the ending can't wait for wrestlemania. I also like the fact that WWE made Sheamus the champ too 8.1/10
Women's Championship
Michelle McCool vs Mickie James
I really don't like the divas of the past year this match was quite good on the diva standards 6.6/10
W H Championship
Undertaker vs Rey Mysterio
I thought this was best on the card other than royal rumble these two had a cracking match 8.4/10
The Royal Rumble Match
What a match a bit short but HBK had a brilliant rumble and the game had a reasonably short outing but then Edge came out at no 29 and won LOVED THAT 8.8/10
So overall a very good PPV with in my veiw a few shockers so adding up all the scores 46.8/60 6 matches
not a bad rumble at all. the rumble match itself was an interesting one, nice to see the return of a strong woman in the rumble again, echoing chyna's appearance in 99. edges return was a welcome surprise and pulled off fairly well. believable that it could have been any of the final 4. hbk's story in the rumble works magically in terms of setting him up for his WM26 rematch with undertaker.
other matches: the world title was a bit predictable, had to know taker would hold onto it but i always like seeing him work with smaller guys, had a decent match with a hell of a last ride to end. the christian vs ezekiel jackson bout was also quite a strong way 2 open considering the ecw title would be no more soon after. the orton/legacy storyline coming into it's own. worth the buy
Christian(c) vs Ezekiel Jackson ECW Title 6.5/10
Good match with some decent moves but I can't help but think that Christian's constant dominance is a little boring. Still OK match up.
The Miz(c) vs MVP US Title 6/10
Some stand out wrestling but a little bland slightly predictable ending I would have wanted MVP to win.
Sheamus(c) vs Randy Orton WWE Title 8.25/10
Brill match with some amazing moves between the 2 competitors and it was good to see this match up and orton turn on his legacy counterparts but I wanted a Cena rematch more.
Divas Match 5/10
To worked as usual occassional good move and always with its funny segmenty parts.
Undertaker(c) vs Rey Mysterio World Title 9.25/10
Amazing match with plenty of inventive reversals and some unique standout wrestling a brill match for the fans seeing to legendary wrestlers perform against each other. :)
Royal Rumble Match 9.75/10
Very interesting rumble match full of plenty of inventive eliminations and a handful of finishers between the superstars also with its usual fair share of shocks as usual a standout match with an interesting winner the post and pre match build up also are way up to scratch with brill segments and moments between the competitors only negative: A little short.
Overall: A night full of brilliant humour incredible matches, awful botches legendary moves and as per usual a night leading an EPIC ROAD WRESTLEMANIA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
9/10 Buy it now, If you are THE ONE.

Possibly the worst Royal Rumble I have seen. The actual Runble match was over so quickly, it was hard to keep up. The eliminations were so fast and it was truly dissapointing. If you havent seen it alreasy I wont spoil the event anymore for you but the singles mathes were nothing special but the crown jewel in the ppvs evening was very very poor. I havent watched a PPV since Wrestlemania 25 last year and I was so disapointed with that I boycotted all Live PPV for a year. This event was my return to Live WWE events. I am on the verge of boycotting Wrestlemania this year as if Royal Rumble is anything to go by, I haven't missed much. This might sound a harsh review but I have been an avid WWE fan for 21 years and I like to think that I know what I am talking about.
great rumble match...shocking early return by edge, pushing himself to get back in the ring ahead of schedule. great storytelling from the point of view of shawn michaels as well, and great to see a woman return to the rumble and have an impact.
taker vs rey was probably the strongest match on the undercard...with the definitive 'how-to' last ride. ezekiel jackson vs christian was also a good solid bout

2 stars a poor Royal Rumble to kick off 2010. 2 matches I recommend from this ppv and its not the 30-man Royal Rumble Match. Its the Rey Vs Undertaker, & Sheamus Vs Randy match which was descent.
30 Man Royal Rumble was poor from the start to the beginning only highlight was the surprise entrant Edge winning the rumble which was good.
Only Rumble match that had bascially 4-6 men in the ring at once very poor match. To fast and quick.
Women s Championship title match good build up rivalry but pointless match only lasting about a minute.
Not recommend buy

This PPV features one of the greatest Rumbles I have ever seen. The PPV as a whole wasn't spectacular, however the Royal Rumble match itself had everything.
The night started with a decent contest between Ezekiel Jackson and Christian. I quite enjoyed this match, I thought it was one of the better matches on the lower card. Big Zeke didn't get outshone by Christian either, displaying great athleticism for a big guy. In the end Christian prevailed following a Killswitch.
7/10
Next up was Miz vs MVP, an intense rivalry which has surely only been escalated by the events of the Rumble match, in which Miz jumped MVP prior to his entrance, only to be eliminated by MVP a few minutes later. Another decent contest with plenty of counters and near falls, a nice finish by Miz aswell to pick up the victory.
6/10
The WWE championship was contested in dull circumstances between Orton and Sheamus. Great atmosphere at the start of the match was quickly hushed by lots of rest holds and tedious sequences. Cody Rhodes interrupted unnecessarily on Ortons behalf, costing Orton the title. Orton then attacked Cody, and Ted who followed after, possibly marking the end of Legacy! Annoyingly, Sheamus retained.
4/10
Next up was the Women's Title where Mickie James beat Michelle McCool in about 30 seconds. She also gained a little payback for herself after the bell had rung by showering McCool and Layla in Cake.
4/10
Final match on the card was the highly anticipated match between Rey Mysterio and Undertaker for the World Title. Taker had the upper hand for the majority of the match which was supposedly cut short due to Taker having his nose busted open. In the end a very average contest, however it was nice to see Taker pick up the win with the Last Ride, and a thunderous one at that.
5/10
It was time for the Rumble and what a match it was. Shocks, twists, turns. The WWE's policy on structuring a Rumble in the past was more or less "Right, your going to eliminate him and then he's going to come in and eliminate you, etc..." however this Rumble was completely different. There was no more than 6 men in the ring at one point giving the superstars, particularly the up-and-comers, the opportunity to show their skills. In addition to that from start to finish it felt like the WWE had planned and timed and thought this match through every sequence. It flowed beautifully and was timed to perfection. Also you could actually feel like a number of superstars could win the whole thing. The match featured a great segment with CM Punk who dominated for a good 15 minutes or so by eliminating superstars and grabbing a microphone to cut a promo inbetween - it was genius and just proves what a special talent Punk is. Shocks were provided by Beth Phoenix, DX, R-Truth and the eventual winner, who returned after an 8 month absence, EDGE! This Rumble match had everything and anyone who says otherwise needs to go back and reconsider.
10/10
The PPV as a whole wasn't great as it had quite a weak undercard, however this is greatly overshadowed by the Rumble match itself.
Overall PPV rating 7/10, however I suggest if your as big a fan of the Royal Rumble match as I am that you buy this DVD, as this is one of the best.
