Fantastic DVD, first disc starts with a very insightful and intresting documentary about Shawn's rise to stardom, how he came about joining the WWE, his early days, how he was potrayed backstage when he was carrying the company and his return back to the ring. Enjoyed this documentary very much. Second and third discs are full with matches. Early matches with him in the Rockers, his single career and his royal rumble victory are all in full matches within the first disc. Disc 2 contains 2/3 90's matches, and the rest after he had returned in 2002. His bout with Kurt Angle as a WM rematch was fantastic. This DVD is truley a must buy for not just HBK fans but all WWE fans in general. The greatest superstar ever.

Brilliant main feature on the ever awesome HBK. Really insightful, and although you want more details and they only touch on certain issues in his illustrious career, you dont feel short changed, and there isn't much less information than in his autobiography. (Also well worth a look.)

My only real gripe would be that I wish there had been a few more matches from his 2002-2007 run, as he had plenty for good ones. There are only four from this era, and although most fans remember his for his earlier WWE career (and I was also watching then) I definitely prefer the maturity of his later years as a performer. However, his work ethic and bump taking abilities of the 90's was absolutely incredible, and it's easy to see how he burnt himself out.

The matches well worth the viewing are his scraps with the British Bulldog, his match with Jeff Jarrett, his bout with HHH on RAW and the very-near-to-topping-Wrestlemania-21 match with Kurt Angle. The Rockers v Buddy Rose and Doug Summers is also worth watching especially if you read about the feud in his book. The benefit of reading the book is that you can see exactly what HBK is talking about at that time.

Highly recommended, and is the perfect compliment to the very good Shawn Michaels: From the Vault DVD. As soon as My Journey is out, I will be purchasing that, and I think that between these three, HBK's incredible WWE run should be just about covered. The best superstar in the WWE ever? He's definitely a contender and it's a shame there won't be a HBK v The Rock feud somewhere down the road.

This is a truly showstopping DVD release from WWE. I recently decided that Shawn is my favourite wrestler of all time, so when my girlfriend bought this for me I couldn't believe my luck. The documentary on disc one is top class, a great 2 hour watch for any HBK, WWE or wrestling fan in general. The other 2 discs have some great rare matches featuring some high flying Rockers action, classic HBK singles action from the 90s and some world class matches from the 00s. Any self respecting wrestling fan should have this set.

great 3 disc set profiling the awesome career of one of the best of all time the heartbreak kid, mr wrestlemania himself shawn micheals.

Disc one= This is a biography of shawns career told by himself and various other wwe personalites including hhh, vince mcmahon, jr and marty jennety among others.
we look at shawns earlier days in territorial wrestling such as the AWA and wrestling in memphis when he was new to the business and to his eventual tag team sucess with marty jannetty as the rockers tag team through the territories and eventually to the big time in WWE.
We then look at the split of the rockers and shawns springboard into solo stardom as a singles competitor in the WWE alongside sensational sherri and the creation of the "heartbreak kid" gimmick.
The 1st ladder match is also discussed which featured razor ramon and hbk and it is discussed how that match changed the industry and something special was created that others followed down the line eg, hardys, edge, christian,cm punk in tlc or money in the bank
We also look at HBKS breakout to main event status, feuding with former friend big daddy cool Diesel (Kevin Nash) and how he went onto to win back to back royal rumbles in 95 and 96 respectively and ultimatley move on to win his first WWE championship in the classic 1 hour iron man match with Bret Hart at Wrestle mania 12.
We then take a look at Shawns personal life and the demons he was battling throughout his back injury in 1998 and how he was forced out of the business for 4 years with a devestating back injury or how he lost his smile and surrened the WWE title in feb 97.
Shawn famously reinvented himself and found god and was able to come back and revive his career to new standards and this is documented with his tremendous return to the WWE at Summerslam in 2002 and how he went onto have classic matches with chris jericho, kurt angle and even vince mcmahon at mania 22.
this disc profiles HBKS amazing career and showcases just how good he is inside the ring as a performer and on the mike with his DX Skits with HHH which are also well docuemted a must for any fan of HBK.

An amazing DVD set, i wasn't a HBK fan until i watched this.

The documentary is what you should buy it for. It goes into so much depth about his whole career and personal life.

The matches are probably not his best matches, they are just rare matches that can not be found on hardly any other dvd set.

This is my fave DVD of all time. Shawn Michaels is my fave Superstar and he has had an absolutley amazing career so far. No one else will ever top HBK. This set shows us his best matches of all time. I adore this DVD so i reccomend you buy it now. Not just because I like it but because you will not be dissaponted. You will be hooked from beginning to end with his amazing in-ring style, high flying moves and cocky charisma. And now its in the sale..you can not pass this one up!

I love this DVD.
Firstly, the documentary about Shawn's life is interesting , at times it is funny.
I loved learning about Shawn's early wrestling career in the WCCW and the AWA, I also loved learning about Shawn's childhood.

The extras were also good:
There was a very moving farewell video about Shawn's retirement back in the 90s.
And some deleted scenes.
The promos include Shawn's infamous imitation of Hulk Hogan on the Larry King spoof on Raw.
There are also some amusing stories, including the one about Shawn's terrible pants in the Survivor Series 2002 Elimination Chamber match.

The second and third discs have a great selection of matches, the first disk has matches from 1985 to 1995.

The second disk has more recent matches where Shawn fights the likes of Kurt Angle and John Cena.

Overall a very good collection, and a must have for all HBK fans.

This is one of the best 3 disc sets ive bought from WWE, and one of the most in depth looks at the troubled career of HBK. HBK is without a doubt my favourite wrestler ever, and this is a really honest account of his wrestling life. Showing his demons and the great wrestling matches he had, and there are a lot of them!! A fantastic look at the montreal incident, the original DX, relationship with Vince, and all the other great rivalries. The other two discs are great two, with some outstanding matches on all of them.
A must buy for any HBK fan! 10/10

This is a classic, an absolute must have for all Shawn Michaels fans. The documentry is amazing with lots of insight into his carrer from family, friends and fellow wrestlers. The 2 disc of matches are brilliant featuring some rare and great matches. High lights for me was his tag matches with Marty Janety and his matches with British Bulldog, Jeff Jarrett, Royal Rumble 95, Triple H, Kurt Angle and John Cena.
This dvd shows exactly why Shawn is considered one of the very best wrestlers ever.

Great dvd shawn michaels a good wwe wretsler a big legend and i think it was a good dvd to dedicate to michaels the first hour of the dvd is a story on HBK and it tells everything wich is really good and i do enjoy the storys alt. Then there was about 10 or something matches and i didnt really enjoy them not many good ones but i aint saying that to all of them there was still 1 or 2 good matches ok dvd for for coloection ive seen the story about 3 times but dont wanna see that matches again. This is an awesome DVD and covers all the aspects of HBK's life including the highs and the lows. If this DVD had a few more matches such as Jericho and HBK at Summerslam it would be a 5 star DVD. The fact that it also covers some of the stuff that happened whilst he was in DX is cool because that made me want to DX DVD even more! These 8 hours and 30 minutes are brilliant and definitely worth spent watching this DVD.

In my personal opinion Shawn Michaels is the greatest professional wrestler to ever grace a ring, no one has more athleticism, charisma or heart than The Showstopper, when he comes out from behind the curtain he gives the fan everything they've paid for and more. He's the guy delivering the money's worth. This dvd showcases just how awesome he is and covers one heck of a career from the young fan in Texas to the Rocker, the boy toy, the heartbreak kid, the father, the husband, the christian, the man and of course the attitude lol!

The matches included are excellent, but then again any HBK fan would expect nothing less from the icon.

This dvd is definitley worth buying it's my fave wrestling dvd :-D.

I'm a big Bret Hart Fan and as such this is hard to say because of the infamous Canada screw job, but this IS! a great portrail of HBK. He talks honestly about the incident in Canada and how in some part he does regret what happened between him, Vince and Hart. The dvd story doesn't however just consist of this incident in fact it's a very small part of the HBK story that is told. Everything about Shaun is mentioned from his earlly beginnings, the experience with The Rockers ( Class Tag Team) ,the splitting up of the tag team in Brutus's Barber shop, the rise into single's competition, becoming WWE champion ,the drug problem, the back injury and the finding of god! everything is in there.
I've gained a lot of respect for Shaun Michaels from watching this dvd set he's always been a great in ring performer but this dvd shows more of the man outside. That's what's so great about the Silvervision/WWE productions they show more than the Heal or the Baby face aspect that is portrayed over the cameras.

I would highly recommend this dvd set, with the added inclusion of some entertaining match-ups makes this easily in the top 5 Silvervision/WWE Superstar dvd's, if not higher!

Shawn Micheals has been my favourite wrestler since I first started watching back in the early 90's so I was looking forward to seeing this dvd. I was'nt disappointed. There is a great selection of matches on this dvd and is great for any Shawn Micheals fan. A must buy.

fantastic dvd boxset must buy for any HBK and ROCKERS fan

BUY NOW, BUY NOW, BUY NOW. HBK Is one of my favourite wrestlers and after watching this dvd its made me like him even more. Its just a perfect WWE dvd, it covers everything in HBK's career. And i like the way WWE picked different matches to put on the dvd instead of just adding his most famous ones what we have seen before in other dvd's. I personally suggest this dvd to any HBK fans. I just wish they would bring an undertaker dvd like this about his life and career.

This was my first (of many) DVD focusing on one specific wrestler, and seeing as Shawn Micheals has always been one of my absolute favourite superstars this seemed to be the perfect place to start %u2013 and so it was! I loved (and still love) every minute of this epic collection. The documentary is (or at least seems to be) honest and not simply a two hour tribute (although it trails off in the end). If you are an HBK-fan there is no way you%u2019re not gonna enjoy yourself. When it comes to the matches, you don%u2019t even have to be a fan to have great time. Shawn is an awesome athlete whether you like it or not! Many of his most legendary matches aren%u2019t included here, instead you get a collection of somewhat rare matches, which is actually even better from a collector%u2019s standpoint. It almost brought tears to my eyes to see The Rockers together again, if only for one night! Besides, you probably already have the Wrestlemania X laddermatch and other iconic matches on several DVD%u2019s already. The extras isn%u2019t anything special, but the Hulk Hogan spoof is absolutely hilarious, BROTHER! I guess Shawn Michaels is always going to be kind of a %u2018love him or hate him-wrestler%u2019, but for the %u2018lovers%u2019 at least there is no excuse not to get this DVD!

I started watching wrestling because of HBK and this DVD set brought back so many memories.

For a complete history this DVD should be watched in conjection with his biograph, released under the same title.

I have to admit that I was really bored after viewing this DVD! HBK is my favorite superstar, though I didn't find this DVD much to my liking :-(

The carreer of the Heartbreak Kid. A fantastic collection of the Shawn Michaels greatest moments. I didn't know so many things about this historical wrestler.

This Shawn Michaels comperlation is out of this world. Finding out about how his career started and how he "lost his smile". A must have for all HBK, DX or Rockers fan. If you dont own this then you deserve a sweet chin music. Amd if your not down with that we've got two words for ya SUCK IT!!!
