I never thought that a Triple H dvd would be so good !!! So many great matches collected together, either he won or lost them, they were great !!! The documentary part between the matches is very good and if you don't like this 2 disc set I 've got 2 worlds for you: ( you know them ) :>
Triple H is in my opinion the greatest wrestler of all time ... And this dvd don't show the complete glory from Triple H, or just don't show the very best of ... There could have more matches from the "attitude era" I think (against Stone Cold, Rock, Michaels, Nash...) and more barbaric matches misses for me ... But there is some great and incredible matches, like Hell In A Cell against Foley or the 2 out of 3 falls against Shawn Michaels ... brutal .
A very good DVD yes, but I'm still waiting for a better next (a 3 or 4 discs set !!!!!!!!)
7/10 .

To begin with I thought it would be disappointing dvd set but it was worth the money, the documentary in between matches is very interesting and very in depth though I feel some of the matches dont show completely all of HHH best work in the ring but there is indeed plenty of room to make another dvd set when he retires
Well, as far as 2 disk retrospectives go, there isn't anything particularly wrong with the HHH: KoK set... it's just that there really should have been more of it.
The first thing to note is that the presentation of the disk is pretty good. Hunter himself introduces each match, each feud and explains the background of each (His admittance that he learned a lot from Marc Mero is actually outstanding, and certainly cemented some respect from me towards The Game - I hate Mero but HHH still gave due credit). This is HHH's forum to say what he really thinks and he doesn't apologise for doing so. It's really good and the direct honesty refreshingly helps the package. On the other hand, the extras, whilst few, are also interesting little snippets: Seeing Triple H as 'Hunter Hearst-Helmsley' will be confusing to newer fans, to see his evolution, and his debut match is... fascinating. Hunter using a spinning heel kick? Wouldn't see THAT nowadays.
I also have to admit, a strong fondness for the Hog Pen match. For some reason, one of my all-time favourite WWE matches. I don't know why, but I love it, and HHH made it work. It's on here, and I'd give the set another star just for that. :) Seriously, I love the Hog Pen Match...
The matches are generally good. They're a nice mix of merely nostalgic (vs. John Crystal) to excellent (anything involving Mick Foley). A few selections are included for career importance (his Royal Rumble return), but probably would have worked better on a three-disk set only. The problem is there's no room here to really showcase The Game at his truest best and dozens of matches are scored and criminally missing. If you asked me who Tripsy's worst enemy was? I'd say either The Rock or Shawn Michaels. Well, his feud against HBK is well showcased here with some of their best confrontations... but the Rock? Where the heck is the Rock?
Really, missing The Rock off this set veers towards criminal. Also missing is Chris Jericho - why? I'm also a little peeved because there is a little known Raw match where HHH and Chyna broke up, and Chyna fought HHH - a week before he won the title for the first time. This match should have been on here for being the first time Hunter and Chyna fought - It was very well contested, and is very important to HHH's evolution. Maybe I'm alone in this, but I feel some matches were criminally missed and could have been slid in if this were a three-disk set. Better a Rock match or the Chyna match than the Royal Rumble compromise, for example.
That's nitpicky, though. The disk doesn't do anything particularly bad for what it is. It's not the definitive HHH disk, and I'm still waiting for such a thing - or at least a rerelease of 'Our Time' from the 00's (please listen WWE!) - but this will do. Besides this, the three DX DVD sets, and HBK's DVD collection, HHH's career is pretty much mapped out and there for the taking. Get ready to play the Game... and make sure The Game doesn't play you!
Triple H is My Favourite Wrestler since i started to watch WWE, Somehow this dvd didn`t do it for me, Ok There was also a Good matches in it but, Marc Mero i mean REALLY. Where were Matches Between, Kurt Angle, The Rock and even Randy Orton and only 1 match with Stone Cold..But if you are intrested in profiles and such, This is a Good dvd for you. HHH himself outlines the matches.
So 3 Stars should do it, They Can do better with this guy.

triple h is one of wwes greatest ever champions, posessing razor sharp technical and verbal skills hes remained on top of wwe for over a decade, testament to how good he is, is the fact that even after two career threatening quadracep injuries that have relieved him of his speed and agility(may 2001 and january 2007) he continues to be one of pro wrestlings elite workers, its just a shame that he relies on political stroke and not these world class abilities far too often, i think powerslam magazine said best in issue 78 back in november 2000 "an incredible talent and a ruthless buisnessman".
its inevitable with any wwe release, that something will be missing, its impoosible to include everything on two or three discs, but "triple h; the king of kings" is one of the worst offenders with several glaring ommissions, personally i would have given triple h the 3 disc bio treatment.for starters where is the awesome street fight v mick foley (royal rumble 2000), i realise this has been on multiple dvds already but its deeply absorbing and never gets old, im tired of writing about the holes that cutting chris benoit matches out leaves (triple h especially) missing is a smooth technical collision from no mercy 2000 and the collection of tussles from 2004, including the two fantastic 3 way matches that also involved shawn michaels (wrestlemania xx and backlash) and a good bout from vengeance. there are no matches pitting the game against chris jericho, thier superb last man standing match from fully loaded 2000 and excellent hell in a cell match from judgment day 2002 are absent, we are given no bouts from his killer fued with the rock, thier matches between march-august 2000 ranged from good (backlash) to superb (judgment day under iron man rules) and a thrilling 3 way (summerslam which also included kurt angle), you may have gathered that 2000 was a stellar year for triple h, but only one match from this time period is included which is a shame. furthermore the last match is from april 2006 which leaves a huge gap between it and the dvds release in 2008, wwe could have covered the dx v rated rko fued in late 2006/early 2007, though this rivalry was admittadly an overall dissapointment (cyber sunday was average and triple matches with randy orton on raw were boring)and was cut short (hhh tore his quad at nyr 2007) the four men involved redeemed themselves with an intense and bloody brawl at new years revolution 2007. some of the matches that are included are also questionable, the 2 out of 3 falls encounter v shawn michaels (armageddon 2002) doesnt generate one fifth of the drama that thier incredible stunt brawl from summerslam 2002 did, though it contains plenty of wild stunts (flaming barbed wire bat, splash from the cage through a table for instance) its stil rather dull, and at roughly 40 mintes long, its doubtfull you will revisit this. triple hs very successful return at the royal rumble 2002 is covered, but why do they include the entire rumble match, the closing moments would have been sufficient, this is valuble space that should have been dedicated to the afformentioned fueds/matches. "the cerebral assasin" did a commendable job of carrying a washed up ric flair in late 2005, thier cage collision (taboo tuesday) was okay and thier survivor series showdown under last man standing rules is very violent, screw driver anyone? the latter match is on this set, but agian triple h has had so many bouts, that are so much better than this.
finally we get to the however, so here we go, this 2 disc compilition does thankfully contain some fabulous battles, starting with wrestlmania 14 v owen hart, which is very good, triple hs first world title winning effort against mankind (august 1999) is decent but is unfortunately marred by the rocks guest commentary, "the great one" talks relentlessly about himself throughout the contest when he should have focused on the match and wrestlers, and when he does take time to acknowledge the ongoing title match, he refers, on more than one occassion, to foley as a bad champion. the penultimate match on disc 1 is hunters red hot hell in a cell match against "cactus jack" mick foley(no way out 2000),which contains the unforgettable sight of foley being backdropped through the cell, if only foley had stayed retired after this match as the stipulation stated.h3s match against stone cold from no mecy 1999 is a gripping brawl but as good as this match is, thier 3 stages of hell war at no way out 2001 was better. triple h proved in early 2005 that when hes in the mood he can use his incredible all round talents to very successfully elevate others, the slow building storyline break up between evolution and batista was expertly done, couple this with tripleh putting batista over properly at wrestlemania, backlash and vengeance wwe created a new star for the future, the storyline was a perfect example of how an established star can make someone a superstar, so why doesnt this happen more often? unfortunately their matches were lacking in quality, wwe has wisely skipped thier tedious offerings from wrestlemania 21 and backlash the following month and gone straight to the brutal and compelling hell in a cell match(vengeance 2005), which is one of batistas and triple hs best matches, one spot involved a chair wrapped in barbed wire, and you can actually see little holes in batistas huge back with blood trickling out. as i mentioned earlyer the disc ends in april 2006 at backlash, to be fair its an exciting way to close out the dvd, the triple threat match feauring triple h v edge v john cena is a very enjoyable effort which ends when our man suprisingly taps out again to cenas notoriously naff stf submission hold.
slotted in between the matches are short interview clips with triple h himself talking about his career, when talking about his first quad injury, (triple h tagged with stone cold against chris jericho and benoit when he first tore his quad muscle in may 2001, this match should have been on here also, it was awesome),apart from this shock inclusion, the biographical segments offer little else, we learn hardly anything about triple hs life outside wrestling or his career before he was famous and are dissapointing. the fact that the segment before the ric flair match is entitled "wrestling my idol" indicates why the match is included, as i said earlier i wouldnt have put this on the dvd.
until wwe releases a difinitive best of triple h collection(3 disc with lots of his best matches please) this will have to do, it is satisfactory with a coule of gems from no way out 2000 and vengeance 2005, but i wanted more from this, but definately worth a look.

A brilliant dvd. While it didn't have much to do with the game's life outside of wrestling, the matches were (being a huge Triple H fan) brilliant and made up for it only being 2 disc. Highlights are vs Batista Hell in a Cell, vs Cactus Jack Hell in a Cell (I love cell matches) and vs Shawn Michaels 3 Stages Of Hell.
I would recommend this to any fan of the game's. BOW DOWN TO THE KING!!!!!!!!!!
I must admit i was a little dissapointed when i heard this was only a 2 disc set. But it still proved to be a great release. Its a kind of teaser for a bigger and better set in the future. This set gets straight into the action and has some of The Games most important matches of his career. His battle with Cactus at NWO 2000 really made him stand out as a true main eventer. Not taking away from anything he did previous to this though as he has had a magnificent career thus far. His fight with Stone Cold at No Mercy 99 was a cracker as was his Last man Standing Match with Flair at Survivor Series 05. If your a follower of The Game then you dont want to miss this set, however if your a fan in general then this is still a good DVD but you may find it worth the wait for a more definitve Triple H Collection!
This dvd has some good matches on it highlighting his entrance to the company and his rise to the top. It also includes segments between the matches of Triple H himself talking about the relevant time and the matches he was in that are on the disc. It definitely gives a good insight to The Game, hopefully when he retires they will bring out a 3 disc set giving more depth into his whole career. If you like The Game, this is definitely worth the buy.

cool dvd great for me as i am a triple h fan behold the king the king of kings
This is a great dvd i am gettin it soon and it has some awesome matches the only thing is it only shows one match from a rivalry and not any from the triple h rock rivalry. I like the fact that this dvd has 1 of his 3 stages of hell matches on it and in my oppinion the better one. What silvervision should do is make it 3 disc and show some more of his big rivalries but still it is an incredible buy for any triple h fan and all the matches shown are great.
Overall a great buy and half the matches will be shown again and again at my house. 9/10
In my opinion best 2 disc ever fits so much onto little time slot incredible dvd best ever superstar one for time used and stuff about the superstar and match quality ect.

Great DVD, really showcases Triple H's wrestling skill and charisma. The interviews with triple H in between each matches are excellent and a good insight into the storylines at the time. Standout matches for me are the KOTR final against Mankind, and the 2 out of 3 falls against HBK. There should definetly, however, be at least a third disc, as many encounters are left off this, most notably the rivalry with The Rock (though this is presented on The Rocks 3 Disd set). All in all though this is a great package and definetly a must for any fan of Triple H, or the WWE in general.

Great DVD for one of the greatest superstars of all time ! there are some classic matches on this set including HHH vs Cactus jack at no way out in the hell in a cell and the 2 out of 3 falls match at armageddon 2002 with HBK and the hell in a cell with Batista.
The only critiscsm there is is that HHH has had so many great memorible matches why not make this a 3 disc set ?!?

Great wwe dvd, Triple H is arguably the greatest wrestler of the 2000?s,Shawn Michaels was the best back in the 1990?s!The dvd has lot of good matches, but something is missing and i?m talking about the matches against The Rock, they had an amazing feud during the attitude era(1998-2001),it?s a shame that none of their matches are included here, still a good career retrospective of the game?s career!

I think Triple H The King Of Kings is the best because it has all the matchs i like and it is very bloody just the way i like it. My faviourite match on the DVD is Triple H vs. Shawn Michaels 2 out of 3 Falls for the World Heavyweight Championship
In my honest opinoin. Not Good Enough. I am a die hard tripleh fan you wont find another like myself i followed him from early 1996 right through to now. the dvd doesnt have enough for me it is still a nice collection but i hope in futre they will still bring out a another 3 disc set of the game
Great DVD set, though could have been made better by being a 3 or 4 DVD set such as The Rock%u2019s, Stone Cold%u2019s, Shawn Michaels, etc. Though still worth the buy.
This dvd is full of surprises, with triple h telling the story himself. The hell in the cells were fantastic matches, and there are loads of other fab matches. Theres a great story told by triple h between the matches which he does say somesecrets of wwe. So overall by matches, the story and all the hidden gems I say this great wwe dvd desearves 9/10 GREAT!!!
