This is a must-buy for any Shawn Michaels fan - and highly recommended to wrestling fans in general. Michaels is one of the most important performers in professional wrestling in the 1990s, and this 2-disc set proves why.

I wouldn't necessarily describe this as a compliation of HBK's greatest matches (although that IS arguable), but it's definitely a collection of some of his most brutal. When talking about the greatness of Shawn Michaels in the 1990s, these are matches everyone remembers. A great supplement to the other HBK DVD sets (although so far I've only seen 'My Journey' - I've yet to see 'Heartbreak and Triumph', but I know which matches are included on it), I can honestly say that it is the essential centrepiece to your Shawn Michaels DVD collection.

It looks to me like this was meant to be the first in a series of 'From the Vault' sets, and if that's the case it's a shame that no more were made. We can only be grateful that Shawn Michaels was first, and that we got to see a compilation of these awesome matches.

This is a good 2 disc set.. made up of matches from each point in HBK's career from early days to his spectacular return at Summerslam 2002. The matches are in full and HBK himself introduces us ton each match with his thoughts about them. Quite a nice little set...I ordered a long tine ago and got the free Lenticular :D...love HBK and love this DVD. Good combo with his more recent 3 disc set!

I believe this dvd is of great quality. My m8 says its not good but it's incredible every match except the AWA Tag Team Match is a brilliant and that is only there to show his early career. It is in my oppinion better than the 3 disc set and it is brilliant for a 6 hour 2 disc dvd this is just underneath Triple H's DVD in my best 2 disc dvd. An incredible watch but could have finished with the full Triple H Shawn Michaels rivalry and take a hour and half off interviewing but that would make it the best dvd ever so 9/10 an amazing watch. The only problem is the price I'd say wait till its on offer when it is I will snap it up immediately buy it today!

This DVD is a classic collection of vintage Shawn Michales matches. The DVD contians not only high quality matches but also important moments in WWF history, such as the first Hell in a Cell and Michaels fulfilling his boyhood dream at Wrestlemania 12. The matches span the majority of HBK's career and show how he has become the Showstopper. It's difficult to pick a highlight match because they are all of such high quality. Definitely recommended!

The AWA tag match probably wont blow anybody but saying that its an interesting watch and an early part of Michael's career.Nothing more needs to be said about the Ladder match from WMX,an excellent match that still stands the test of time and the match that helped make HBK a star.The Iron Man match is somewhat of a mixed bag,while some will claim it one of the best matches of all time,in truth it tends to drag a bit,and is only exciting in parts.The No Holds Barred match from Good Friends Better Enemies is a fine match with some great brawling.Mind Games Vs Mankind is one of Shawns best matches ever and one of the best matches of the 90's. Speaking of which the first Hell In A Cell match is epic.An excellent affair,it's still one of the best Cell matches. The second disc finishes with Shawn's comeback match from SummerSlam.A terrific match with a brilliant emotional backdrop it showed that Shawn was still better than anyone else.An outstanding comeback.
Extras include plenty of interviews,promos and more leading up to the matches.The Tell Me A Lie video is also includedThe alternate commentary on the HBK Vs Nash match is a hoot.Easter Eggs include a very funny Buddy Rose spoof advert and the infamous 'I Lost My Smile' speech
A fantastic collection of matches that are some of the best in WWF/WWE history along with some nice extras make this a must own

But i still think is coming second behind Shawn Michaels: Heartbreak and Triumph!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This was one of my first wrestling DVDs that I had purchased and I absolutely loved every bit of it! So if you are a HBK fan, I highly recommend that you buy it because I would rather watch this then Shawn Michaels 3 disc Heartbreak and Triumph DVD set!

this is a brilliant. this dvd is the one dvd that inspired me to train 2 become a wrestler every wrestling fan needs this dvd it is simply amazing.

Un DVD de Catch a avoir dans sa collection avec les plus grands matchs du Heart Break Kid Shawn Michaels avec le legendaire Ladder Match de Wrestlemania X et le grandiose IronMan Match de Wrestlemania XII. Sur la dizaine de DVD de Catch que j'ai celui-ci est mon prefere.
