What can I say that has not already been said?
This is THE single most impressive WWE production, ever. The 2+ hour sit-down interview (conducted by the true voice of WWE, Hall of Famer Jim Ross) is a brutally honest environment which at times makes you feel you're eavesdropping on a private conversation. It is both uncomfortable and enthralling as Ross asks the tough questions. Bret, in particular, seems to get lost in the moment and his emotions get the better of him on a few occasions.
I was so impressed I watched this interview TWICE. I never do that. The second and third disks showcase several amazing Tag Team and one on one bouts, both men's respective Hall of Fame inductions as well as their epic WrestleMania XII encounter. There was not one single match on this set in which I was not fully engaged.
Epic. Awesome. Phenominal. None of these words do this set justice. It's so good it even intrigued my brother who hates wrestling.
It's a must for anyone, wrestling fan or not. It brings closure for Michaels, Hart and even us as fans. I strongly reccommend this and hope for future productions that can rival the impressively high standard set here.
Flawless!
Just finished watching it and wanted to share my thoughts on the dvd.
First off the documentary is two hours long which is fantastic as alot of the bio/doc dvds aren't given enough time to showcase the actual feature, the core of the dvd is a sit down interview with both bret and shawn hosted by good ol' Jr, as a long time wrestling fan who likes to think he knows it all I was happy to hear a few insider stories that I had not heard before or if I had not to such great detail, both interviewees seem honest and genuine threw out which makes for a really worth while buy. I am a big fan of dvd extras and disc two of this collection delivers in a big way with two rare gems the first being the hart foundation vs the rockers at the Tokyo dome in 1991,while this is not the best confrontation between the two teams out there it ranks high
and the rarity add to the value Of the extra, This is with out a doubt one of my favourite wwe dvd productions for a long while.
