The documentary portion of the set is a tad underwhelming. Each superstar profile is allocated approximately five minutes, but that's barely enough time to scratch the surface. With the epic superstar DVD documentaries we've become accustomed to, this left me a tad underwhelmed. The best profile was Kurt Angle's, purely because he doesn't have a DVD yet and thus it felt fresh. The talking heads were mainly John Cena, The Miz, Alex Riley, Kofi Kingston, Josh Mathews and Santino - who, rather annoyingly, stayed in character throughout and contributed little.
The extras were the selling point for me, and they're decent enough - with some rare TV matches you won't find elsewhere. However, the pre-HD footage being presented in 4:3 format is hugely irritating and distracting.
Overall, this is an enjoyable set, but is ultimately a 'throwaway' - I can't see myself watching it more than once or twice (especially the documentary portion).
This release is worth for the Lesnar vs Angle Iron Man Match alone!!! All 60 minutes of the match... just awesome!!!
worth the buy if only for the Angle-Lesnar Iron Man match. Great set wit some really good matches looking at arguably the biggest names of the last ten years!
