This is a superb collection featuring matches from one of the very best. Unlike some DVDs there is a lot of background leading up to each match so it either gives you a clearer picture of why they were having a match or refreshes your memory if you saw it first time round. The matches are nearly all classics, particularly the two with Ricky Steamboat and the 1992 Royal Rumble is quite possibly the best Rumble ever. The only possbile downside is the lack of a documentary portion, but that has since been rectified with the definitive collection. This is pretty much a must have for all wrestling fans.

Ric Flair is without a daubt one of the greatest if not THE greatest an most influential wrestlerst in the history of the industry. Other than some of the biggest names in this sport he never refused to make young talents look good and to bring them over.
The DVD lacks of a documentation, which was later made up in the "Definitive Ric Flair Collection". Here, Flair himselv introduces the main feuds and storylines of his career (not the one he had with Randy Savage og course) and the DVD covers some of the greatest matches in wrestling history. It is a must have for oldschool fans, especially those matches from Flair's NWA days, since NWA was allways ahead when it came to in ring abilities. When Flair was able to have a good match with anyone, it was almoust magic when he stepped into the ring with men like Dusty Rhodes, Harley Race, Barry Windham, Sting or Terry Funk.
Not forgetting the great Battle Royal from 1992's Royal Rumble, which gave Flair instant credibility as the new WWF Champion. Although the WWF never really understood how to use the starpower, Flair brought with him.
Regarging it as a pure match collection, it is absolutly worth 5 stars.
