Wasn't expecting these events to be as good as they were, but ended up being fantastic! Unforgiven was great, especially on the heels of a pretty good Summerslam too, with some great matches. Y2J vs X-Pac was a very back and forward match with great agilty, while the steel cage match was excellent, brought a unique feel to a cage match which you don't feel anymore. Main event was reeally good with the star factor involved and had some exciting moments.
No Mercy just rolled back the years of what I remembered from wrestling when I just started watching it. Some good matches leading up to a great main event.
DEFINETLY A GOOD BUY this tagged classic

A Solid Tagged Classic release, both events have good matches and bad matches.

Unforgiven 2000

This event is probably the better event.
The opening tag match is average stuff, surprise ending much like the Summerslam tag match.
The aftermath of the match is good though, gets you into the event.

The strap match is very much like the Summerslam match between Tazz and King.
Few good spots, but an average match, that has a big surprise involved in it makes the match better even if the surprise moment only lasts a few seconds, but it does effect the outcome of the match.

The Hardcore match, is just like the Wrestlemania hardcore match, lots of action, just toned down with less people involved in the match. It is average hardcore stuff, that is an entertaining watch,

Y2J vs X-pac is a great match, back and forth quick action that is one of the highlights of the night not the best match of the night, but worth several viewings.

The steel cage match is the best match of this event, anytime that the Hardys and Edge and Christian had a match, you know it is going to be great, this is a brilliant steel cage match, lots of nice
spots, a ladder gets involved, steel chairs, everything, and the last bit of the match is brutal.

Eddie vs Rikishi isn't that special, it is worth a watch, but not one that is that memorable.

Angle vs HHH is a great NO DQ match that has many great spots in it, belly to belly suplex through an annouce table! This is where angle really began to show off his abilities to work with the best. Great match.

The last match on the card is the Fatal Four Way match.
A very good match that involved some nice spots, including the match ending, then starting again
the last few minutes of the match involves each wrestler hitting their finishers, not the best
match of the night, but caps of a good event.

No Mercy 2000

This is event isn't as good as Unforgiven thanks to two or three matches that aren't very good.

William Regal vs Mideon, the mixed tag match and the Tag match are the ones that let the event down a bit.
They are still worth a watch, the tag match mainly, Los Conquistadors reek of awesomeness...

The Gauntlet Table match is predictable, but still enjoyable to watch all those people go through tables and Jerry Lawler creates another golden moment, renaming Tazz and Raven to Tazz and Raisin, which, i found quite funny.

The Steel cage match, not as good as the steel cage tag match between E&C and the Hardys at the previous event,
but Y2J and X-Pac got a really good match out of it including a Walls of Jericho on the top of the cage!

Rikishi vs Stone cold, this is just a fight, nothing else, i don't think a bell even rings, Rikishi gets busted open bad and stone cold dominates most of the match, he eventually takes rikishi away in the Pick up Truck that stone cold drove into the arena.
The climax of the match is very exciting, definatley one of stone cold most memorable moments.

Chris Benoit vs HHH is a good match, very techinal, lots of techinal moves included, Benoit shows that he was one of the
best techinal wrestlers ever here, and Triple H proves he could wrestle a very good match.

The Main event of the Night the Title match, is a good match, maybe the best of the night, but as a Fan of Angle the ending of the match
got me excited and it was good.

Overall, both events are solid, Unforgiven being stronger then No Mercy, not the best events of the Year 2000, but a good release.

2000 was a great year on ppv for the WWF, however this DVD marks a dip in match quality that lasts until Royal Rumble 2001. While the main matches i.e Fatal Four Way, HHH vs. Angle, Rock vs. Angle, HHH vs. Benoit, E&C vs. The Hardys range from excellent to very good, there are are some really awful bouts i.e Willaim Regal vs. Mideon. Worth it just for Unforgiven.
